Dolphin’s Lair

Come down with me,
Said the mermaid in the sea,
Combing her coat
Where orca and otters float.

Give me your hand,
Abandon the rigid land,
Into depths wade,
Stay in my shell-capped arcade.

You I will treat,
With oil sooth your sun-chapped feet,
And wind your hair
With products of dolphin’s lair.

And…
