Grilled Cheese

If you wish my heart to please,
Fix me up a thick grilled cheese.
Put it proper in the pan,
Empty the lard from its can;
Spark the oven, prime the plate,
No thing better kings have ate.

I crave too a side of fries:
Raw potatoes with their eyes.
Into slivers, sliced and skewed,
