Power of the unspent rain,
Sweep the snow which late has lain
In ancient piles, static heaps,
Away, away, make it seep.
The stuff of days, nights unchanged,
Always, always drifts arranged
In stiff, hard-ribbed desert white,
Unrelieved, oppress the sight.
