The Wicked Tory

Colonel Talbot lived a normal life,
As normal as can be,
With miles and miles of Erie land,
And a hand so stubborn free.

He rubbed them out, and he rubbed them in,
His survey of the shore.
Settler, says he, claim not your right,
Obey the onerous chore.

But if old Tom must remember…
